Songs with a Latest Release date of 2003 indicates that they have not received a rerelease (through either compilation, live performance, or self-cover) since the series of studio album digital remasters. These remasters are included in the Number of Appearances count, as many of the remasters include songs from 1992-1994, with the remasters being their first studio/non MV / demo release, as well as original or single versions of songs. The VV releases are included for consistency, as some songs did not receive videos, some songs received multiple, and some were only released as videos. The videos are just as important to the world of Guniw Tools as the music itself. However, here, the video section refers to MVs and does not include Lives (those are noted in individual song sections). Due to the scarce number of released-in-full Guniw Lives and live reports, it can only be assumed that more songs have been performed than are documented.

Songs with the same date for both their Initial and Latest Releases indicate songs which have never been rereleased. This is largely for Post-Reunion singles, covers, and indie/live tapes and demos.

Official streaming refers to releases on Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes, and YouTube Music official channels, and -in the case of Nookicky, Shilfee &, and others- Bandcamp. YouTube reuploads by unaffiliated channels are not being included here, as anyone can upload or remove a video, while official streaming is less prone to changing. Of course, a song being absent from official streaming does not mean that it's unlistenable, however you may interpret that word. It is always worth a chance to check YouTube and other video sites, second-hand music shops, or simply phoning a friend. Another important note - none of the MVs, Lives, or other videos have an official digital release. They are only available through third-party accounts, if at all, and through the aforementioned lovely second-hand shops.

Primary Release refers to either the album or single upon which the song was initially made available. For example, titles such as Case of Destruction, while released on the single, Shinchuuran, is listed under Dazzle, as its single release was an instrumental. On a related topic, songs with alternate versions (see Living Hairspring, CoD, Gnarled Pity, and others) are noted on their respective sections. While some songs may have drastically different version made, they will still be grouped together to prevent bulking out the list and for findability. Alternatively, songs such as Fade Story, which intially appeared on multiple indie releases, will be marked with their first label release.

On Number of Appearances - releases with different editions (and differing content, such as remasters) are counted separately, as a pricier version may be the only viable source of a release that would otherwise be missed on the standard version. Releases with multiple editions and no difference in track listing (such as Guniw 2000LS), are only counted once.

Note that many do not have pages yet, and main releases such as albums are being prioritized over individual songs. There may also be slight errors, as I am human, and most of this was written on another document before being transferred onto this webpage. Do not be afraid to let me know of any mistakes. Some things may appear to be a mistake, but may be intentional.
